Finally, we arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan Intl Airport! Excited but shag. You can see it from our expression. 🙈
We had taken the 1am plus flight and arrived 6am in Taiwan. Famished since we had an early dinner in Singapore, we grabbed two instant bowl noodles from the convenience store before proceeding to the bus terminal.
Right behind us is the bus that we will be taking from the airport to Cao Ma, where we be changing bus to where we would be staying for 2 nights. We took the 7.35am bus which cost 240NT and it is a 2hr 10mins journey. Pretty good. There's still inflight movie.
Deposited our lugguage and set off to our first destination of the day! Alighted at 中友百货，and took a stroll to Confucius Temple. No luck, it is closed on Monday.
Along the way, we bought some grass jelly tea from Lee Ji Traditional Tea Shop. No sugar added and definitely thirst quenching! Then we arrived at the Taiwan Metropolitan Park. Seriously I think Chinese Garden looks prettier.
But well, no harm since our next destination is 宫原眼科 at Taichung Train Station. Don't doubt, we don't have any problems with our eyes. This place sells ice-cream, and yeah, you can see that it is popular from the queue!
Within steps, we are at the train stop and we took the 2.40pm bus no. 27 to 干成彩虹村 (Rainbow Village). It was an hour ride. We found the grandpa who painted his whole house with rainbow colours!
And we each dropped our wishes at his lovely home. 👫
Then, we are hungry again! Lol. Just across the road where we need to take bus no. 29 (4.30pm) back to where we will be staying, we bought 鸡排 to satisfy our hunger. 👍except that it is not boneless.

Rested our foot for awhile, and we set off to our long waited 逢甲夜市 that is just minutes walk away from our place.
Super yummy 二林 he 仔煎！Must eat!
Heard that Taichung is the founder of pearl milk tea. So we bought 1 from this stall to try. It is light, and not too bad, but I still prefer Koi's. 😝
And the last we had. 泡面+马铃薯+起司。Don't be deceived by it. Not worth the stomach space. 😭
We will be back to the night market again tmr! 😁
