11D Taiwan Trip Day 4 - Kaohsiung Part I

Breakfast at lobby was a good start to our day! At 9am, our pre-arranged shuttle arrived to send us to Taichung HSR. Just in time for the 10.46am HSR to Zuoying station. First HSR of the trip! Excited!

44 mins later, we arrived.

From the station, we tooked KMRT to go to Formasa Boulevard station and were greeted by the Dome of Lights! Beautiful.

3D paintings was also one of the catch at the station as we walked towards exit 10. 

After a right turn upon exit, we were just steps away from Kindness hotel which sits on our left of Nanhua road. Did a quick lugguage deposit and we settled down at the restaurant right across the road.

Do eat the 猪排gai饭 if you pass by too. The restaurant also serve free miso soup and drink.

With a full stomach, we are ready for our first attraction for the day! 

Oh wait, just another quick selfie with the glass sheltered MRT entrance.

And our educational tour begins.

There were trains, robots, models and railway tracks. Later I came to realize that these were used for transportation and mechanized processes at the sugar factories.

Ended our educational tour with a sweet note. 😝

Next up, the Pier-2 Art Centre near Yanchengpu station.

This time round, transformer's up! 

We also saw a lot of rustic art pieces spread all over on a huge grassland.
